Colour coded meters
To keep you better informed as the car's speed and the engine revolutions climb, the colour on the speedometer and tachometer changes. This warns you when engine revs or the car's speed have reached your pre-selected limits.
Glare-free Optiron instrumentation
Enjoy greater instrument clarity in all light conditions, even nightime, thanks to an Optitron meter with metallic accents and three-dimensional LED instrumentation.
Illuminated mirrors and door lock switches
The exterior mirror and the door lock switch controls have been restyled and are now illuminated making them easier to locate after dark.
Auto retracting mirrors
The side mirrors in the Sports Luxury automatically retract the moment you switch off the ignition, to keep them tucked inwards while parked. Then once the ignition is switched on again, both mirrors resume their outward position. You've also the option of retracting the mirrors at the touch of a switch when manoeuvring into tight parking spots.
Climate controlled front seats
Simply select your preferred seating temperature in your IS 250 Prestige, then climate controlled front seats maintain your settings, for all climate comfort. In the Sports model, heated front seats keep you warm on frosty mornings.
The luxury of soft leather
Full leather seat trim is standard on the IS 250 Prestige. A unique stitching technique carefully conceals stitch holes, for a near-flawless finish. In the IS 250 Sports, a distinctive Alcantara* seat fabric helps hold your body during spirited motoring. The seats are power operated, which means selecting the perfect seat position is right at your fingertips.
Adjustable rear headrests
The rear headrests are height adjustable to suit rear passengers of all heights. They're also foldable which offers the driver with enhanced rear visibility when not in use.
Power at your fingertips
A DC power outlet and auxiliary input jack have been conveniently located within the centre console, allowing you to plug in additional accessories like your phone and to recharge them as you drive.
Woodwork from a single tree***
The flawless finish on the console in the Sports Luxury is the result of crafting the three individual components from a single piece of wood. Even though separate craftspeople manufacture each item, they become reunited again in the same vehicle for a seamless look. Woodwork throughout the interior is presented in either grey or light brown woodgrain, depending on your selected interior colour treatment.
Leather steering wheel & shifter
Keep a firm grip on your driving with a natural leather bound steering wheel and gear shifter knob.
Exceptional purity of sound
You're entertained by an audio system with 13 strategically located speakers and a 6-disc in-dash CD changer. Audio controls located on the steering wheel let you adjust sound levels as you drive. In Sports Luxury models, the bar is raised even higher with a 14-speaker system created by audiophile designer Mark Levinson. (Mark Levinson is available on Prestige and Sports models with the Satellite Navigation option). The chief engineer even sourced water from springs famous for producing premium quality sake to develop a new cone paper for the sub woofer speaker.
MP3/WMA compatible
For more music capacity, the CD player accepts MP3 and WMA formatted discs. An audio jack lets you plug in MP3 players like your iPod. MP3/WMA is available on Prestige and Sports models with the Satellite Navigation option; the DVD player accepts MP3 and WMA formatted DVD discs.
Perforated sun visors
An obsession with sound quality even extends to sun visors that are perforated like the walls of a sound studio, to absorb exterior sound and reduce cabin reverberation.
Inbuilt Bluetooth™ keeps you in touch
In the Sports Luxury, simply register your Bluetooth™ compatible mobile with the inbuilt system for hands free communication. Call functions are right at your fingertips via the EMV screen, letting you search the phone book, register and receive calls. Bluetooth is available on Prestige and Sports models with the Satellite Navigation option.
Electric rear sunshade
To reduce glare in the rear seat of Sports Luxury models, an electric rear sunshade extends over the rear window at the touch of a button, for greater passenger comfort. It retracts automatically when reverse is selected.
Rear View Camera for easier reversing ***
Satellite Navigation equipped models offer you the guidance of a Rear View Camera discreetly mounted above the licence plate. Select reverse and a colour image of what's immediately behind your rear bumper appears on the Electro Multi Vision (EMV) screen. Rear Guide Assist gives you a more precise indication of distances for easier parking and reversing.
The guidance of Satellite Navigation **
You’ll be guided to your destination by a DVD-based Satellite Navigation system, which is standard in the Sports Luxury model. Visual maps and spoken commands provide directions, virtually making paper maps a thing of the past. It now offers enhanced precision, pinpointing your location with even greater accuracy.
