To keep you informed, gone is the customary tachometer. In its place is a Power Meter, exclusive to Hybrid models, which updates you on the total power output.
Multi Information Display
You'll constantly know which power systems are operating via the Regenerative Breaking System on the console. It tells you whether you're being driven by the petrol engine, electric motors, or both and also advises when the regenerative braking system is active.
Refreshed Interior Treatment
A redesigned facing around the EMV display, and a metallic finish on the meter faces and gear shifter face plate complements the clean, contemporary look of the GS interior. The newly designed steering wheel incorporates controls for the audio, cruise control, phone, Multi Information Display and speech commands.
Glare free instrumentation
For optimum instrument readability even in bright sunlight, there's an Electro-Chromatic Device (ECD) system installed in the meter glass of the dash. It controls sunlight reflection by day and enhances the readout visibility at night, allowing the instrumentation to keep you informed at all times.
Audiophile quality Mark Levinson audio system
The blissfully quiet running of the GS450h provides the perfect environment to appreciate an audio system by world renowned designer Mark Levinson. This 14-speaker audio system has a 6-disc DVD/CD changer and an Automatic Sound Leveliser which continuously fine tunes volume and tone. Audio controls are conveniently located on the newly designed steering wheel.
Climate controlled seats with memory
Whatever the weather, you'll have the comfort of Climate Controlled front seats keeping you refreshed on long hot journeys, or toasty warm on cool days. 8-way power adjustment lets you easily tailor settings to maintain your preferred posture. If another driver has been in your car, the memory function allows personalised settings to be instantly recalled at the touch of a button.
Inbuilt Bluetooth™ keeps you in touch
Simply register your Bluetooth™ compatible mobile with the inbuilt system for hands free communication. Call functions are right at your fingertips via the EMV screen, letting you search the phone book, register and receive calls.
DVD-based Satellite Navigation guidance
You'll be guided to your destination by a DVD-based Satellite Navigation** system. Visual maps and spoken commands provide directions, making paper maps a thing of the past. It now offers enhanced precision, pinpointing your location with even greater accuracy.
Rear view camera for easier reversing
A Rear View Camera***, discreetly mounted above the license plate. Select reverse and a colour image of what's immediately behind your rear bumper appears on the EMV screen. Rear Guide Assist gives you a more precise indication of distances for easier parking and reversing.
Power rear sunshade
To reduce glare, an electric rear sunshade emerges at the touch of a button, for greater passenger comfort.
